Placement Test FormLoading...Email AddressFirst NameLast NameThis form will help determine if you need a placement test(s) prior to Orientation at UW-River Falls. All incoming students should complete the MATH and ENGLISH portions of this form to determine if your prior college level course work already determines your placement. If you are unsure, then please take the tests. We recommend taking a proctored Math B test. This will be the "Math B" option in your Meazure Learning email that you will receive once you complete the UW System Registration Form (this is a different form than the tool you are currently using!). Your scores on these tests are only used to determine your appropriate placement in these courses as you start at UWRF. Proper placement is essential for your success in college level math and english. If you are earning college credit through AP, IB, or CLEP, scores must be received by UWRF before Orientation or you should plan to take the placement test(s). Only complete the LANGUAGES portion of this form if you intend to take language courses at UWRF. Spanish, French, and German are available on-line. Japanese and Chinese will be arranged individually with our Modern Language Department.MATHIn the last two years, I have:In the last two years, I have:Taken a college level math course and will earn college credit for a course on this list: College Algebra, Activities in Math, College Algebra and Trigonometry, Precalculus, or Calculus ITaken an Advanced Placement (AP) test and scored a 3 or higher in Calculus AB or BC.Taken an International Baccalaureate (IB) test in Math and scored a 4 or higher.Taken the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) test for College Algebra and scored 64 or higher.Taken a college level Statistics course or a course not listed.Taken none of the above. You ARE REQUIRED to take the Math Placement Test.
